VEGAS BABY!!!

Well I am in Vegas- Long story but we will be enjoying the weather for a few months here-DARN IT I will MISS the BEST time of the year in NORTH DAKOTA!!NOT.. anyway it wa a long drive and Lots of SNOW and ICE..But when we got here it was 64 and i think 43 at night..I will try to keep you all updated as much as possible, my phone wont text much , i have to use my moms slow computer and there is alot of unpacking to do-

Bitter Cold END!!! NOT!!

Okay, so today we are loading our uhaul trailer for our fun drive to VEGAS BABY!! We are escaping the COLD NORTH DAKOTA Winter- to spare you the details we are heading home for a few months just in time to return for SPRING- well hubby should be back before that but me and the boys will hang in the Sunny Las Vegas sun for a while longer- lets see what i am looking forword to the most you ask? Target,Starbucks,a Mall,Outback Steakhouse,these few things along with maney more- I will miss greatly my girlfriends wish i could wait out the -40 weather with ya- so this is not Goodbye its See ya later...

Stripper BUS!!!!

"yeah so a bunch of strippers now drive out to pick guys up from the man camps and drive them to the Strip club and will drive them back when they are done. there is a stripper pole inside at least it looked like one". Quoted from a girl I talk to here in good ole Williston,North Dakota- She is not impressed I take it- not meany would be, well I dont think any would be unless you are one of the LUCKY MEN getting to Ride such a BUS.....

Stepping Out!!

So tonight a bunch of us Girls are heading out on the TOWN!! Well down to the Local Bar on Main street- when I say down the street I mean DOWN THE STREET -I Live so close to the bar that if I drank a weee to much I could walk home- and its not because I live so close its because the TOWN I live in has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), of which, 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) of it (3.85%) is water. In other words ITS SMALL!!! So back to the story- Back home (Las Vegas,NV) well I could just run down to Target or even the MALL if I would like a NEW outfit to wear for my little evening out- well not here in the Bakken- I will drive about 35 mins to WILLISTON ( the HEART of the OIL BOOM) and go shopping in 1 of 3 stores - we have a Maurices, Vanity, and a JC Penney- which I am very very thankful for..Now I just hope none of the other GIRLS are shopping today othherwise I think we might find the same outfit- hahahaa

So much SNOW- But not REALLY

WELL we got our FIRST Snow - It was not very much but enough for the Kids to PLAY and for it to make a MESS.. There is something very Peaceful about the Snow- its Quiet Fall seams to be Mezmerizing almost- I generally LOVE the snow but i look at this and this OMG what is next, does it MELT or is it just going to get WORSE? I am told that once it is here, it is here to STAY!!!!

Intro

Well here I am Married with Two handsome Boys- The Man I Married is well a TRUCKER yes everyone run away Scared...Just kidding, but that is what everyone thinks when they see a TRUCKER, you see scum,whitetrash or maybe drunk.. well not MY MAN he is HANDSOME, CAREING AND A GOOD HUSBAND AND FATHER- I am his WIFE - I did not set out to be A TRUCKERS WIFE but this is what fell into our laps many years ago- He is not a Over the Road Trucker, thank god Because I dont think we would still be Married, But instead we Own two semi trucks and he Hauls Dirt- For most of our LIFE together we have lived in Las Vegas, worked in Idaho, Montana and even California but when we had our first Son is when we tried to lay roots down in Las Vegas at least for a while we did. See as most of you know Las Vegas took a real big CRAP and went down HILL FAST economy wise- and well we were part of that..To spare most of the details I will skip forward a year or so- we got offered a job in a Little Town called Ray,North Dakota and we turned it down cause something BETTER came up in Vegas..well that was short lived and nearly a year later here we are in RAY...We have been here about 7 months and let me just say the life we have lived in the 7 months I have been here has been better then the one I lived in Las Vegas in the almost 15 years I was there. Sure I have Family there and MISS THEM A TON, o yeh and I really MISS going out to eat someplace GOOD, AND SHOPPING!!!! But what can you do if NORTH DAKOTA is about the ONLY place in the UNITED STATES that has JOBS? Here on this BLOG is where I will tell more about our LITTLE LIFE in this LITTLE TOWN..well at least for a few more weeks I will, unless that ALL CHANGES- which certainly can being A TRUCKERS WIFE.
